Aptera ends up costing just shy of half a Toyota Prius, and a third the overall cost of the Tesla Model 3!

As you can see, it benefits immensely from being classified as an electric motorcycle. To be fair, Aptera is a 2-seater, while these other vehicles are 5-seaters, so depending on your needs, Aptera may not be a suitable choice for all driving scenarios.

It makes for an excellent daily commuter vehicle however, and it is hard to overstate the utility of never having to charge or refuel in practice.
